2009 Bike to Work Events

May 7 - BACA Meeting
Join us at 7:00 PM at the LR Oyster Bar to discuss bike rodeos for youth, the recent BRAA ride (Bike Ride Across Arkansas), and information about recent break ins on the Little Rock side of the River Trail.

May 15 - National Bike to Work Day
This year we challenge you to actually bike to work!  Take a picture with your coworkers so we can post online.  Some ideas include asking your employer to provide snacks/ breakfast in the morning, encouraging coworkers to at least bike to lunch, or providing commuter convoys to help coworkers navigate their way to the office for the first time.  If you prefer to ride with a group for breakfast at the River Market click here for more information.

May 29 - Bike to Work Rally and Commuter Challenge
The rally will be from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM in the River Market Pavilion.   We encourage riders to form Commuter Convoys from their neighborhoods to the River Market.  Breakfast is free and there will be prizes and lots of good times.
For more information contact Willa Williams (wwilliams@uaex.edu)
